Wiltshire Healthcare Community Services (WHCS)
Access to Care is the primary route via which the Neighbourhood teams (NTs) are accessed. As such, our staff are in frequent contact with the members of all eight NTs - the management of individual cases requires a high level of co-operative working.
During the pilot phase of this project many of our clinical staff are seconded from WHCS.
The Great Western Ambulance Trust (GWAS)
Wiltshire Medical Services, and as a result AtC, are working very closely with our local ambulance service provider, GWAS to develop an integrated model of urgent care across the health community.
WMS chose to sub-contract the call handling element of AtC to the ambulance service as both parties are committed to the concept of partnership working.
