Clinical:
Lesley Edwards has been seconded from Wiltshire Community Health Services (WHCS) to the post of Clinical Lead. With her background in urgent care, community nursing and intermediate care, Lesley brings a wealth of relevant experience. She is supported clinically by the WMS’s two medical directors, Jamie Brosch and Andrew Cowie.
Lesley manages a team of clinical advisors all of whom have a background in community nursing or intermediate care.
Administrative support:
This occurs at two levels. The clinicians are supported by a number of administrative assistants who have been recruited by the Great Western Ambulance Trust (GWAS). Their day to day work in AtC is directed by Lesley Edwards and supported by Wiltshire Medical Services’ operational team, whilst GWAS are responsible for all matters relating to their employment.
’Office’ management is provided by WMS’s administrative team.
